Frances

YAA

Frances is YAA certified and has been teaching for seven years. In her classes her focus is to teach in a meditative style of gentle stretching to rediscover body, mind, and breath.

Krysta Schroder(Fitzgerald)

YAA

Krysta is a YAA certified instructor and has been teaching in the Edmonton area for the past 10 years. In addition, she is a YAA certified teacher trainer (intermediate teacher). She has been trained in a variety of traditions, including the Himalayan tradition and Iyengar yoga, and strives to teach a balanced class including postures, breathing and relaxation. In order to meet the individual needs of her students, she offers both group classes and private lessons. Krysta is also a student of Mount Royal University’s Yoga Therapist program, which she is aiming to complete in the next 4 years. She hopes that her love of the yoga tradition will inspire others to continue and deepen their practice of yoga. Sandra Parr

B.A., YAA

Serious health issues lead Sandra to meditation, yoga and Ayurveda. She was certified to teach meditation 20 years ago and has been teaching hatha for over 15 years. Sandra is also keenly interested in Ayurvedic principles and has completed a three year certification to teach Ayurveda and another two year certification for Ayurvedic nutrition.

Keely Scott

YAA

Keely has been teaching yoga for 10 years and is a certified teacher and teacher trainer with the Yoga Association of Alberta, as well as a mentor teacher for the Himalayan teacher training program. Keely loves sharing the gifts of yoga through a gentle inviting practice which is lighthearted and encourages deeper connections within. When not doing yoga (on the mat) she can be found attempting to balance all the demands that living in an engaging family, community, and city can bring.

Eva Stinn

YAA

Eva has been teaching for 14 years . She has been sharing the beauty of Hatha Yoga with participants of various age groups. Her main interest and passion is in seniors and those with special needs. Yoga has transformed her life in many ways. YAA certification helped her to open the door to self discovery and deep need to share.

Certification of Laughter Yoga Leader was an welcomed addition to her YAA certification. Two years ago Eva also obtain certification as a Yin Yoga teacher. She is occasionally hosting Laughter Yoga classes on to request basis and sharing her love of Gentle Hatha Yoga, relaxation and meditation in downtown Edmonton as well as volunteering at Seniors Lodge in Sherwood Park.

Barbara Breau, Red Deer

Barbara first met Maya Margo in 1998, and was immediately drawn in by Maya's gracious presence and the sweet nectar of the Himalayan teachings. Thus began her concentrated study and 'little bit by little bit' experience and understanding of the Himalayan Yoga Meditation Tradition. She is pursuing level 2 of her teacher training certification in this lineage, under the excellent guidance and mentorship of Keely Scott.

Barbara holds 600+ Hour Intermediate Certification with the Yoga Association of Alberta. Since 2009 she is privileged to offer traditional yoga to her social work peers as a full day, category 'A', workshop presenter at the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) Annual Conference, http://www.acsw.ab.ca

In 2001 Barbara began sharing yoga with others, and she continues to instruct regular weekly classes in and around Red Deer including: small private group, public community, special interest, and special needs. For class inquiries: b.breau@telus.net.
